VESDA System Service
Don’t let inadequate maintenance compromise your fire protection
Like any sophisticated equipment, VESDA detection systems require regular maintenance to keep them operating as designed. Failure to maintain them to the manufacturer’s specifications may seriously interfere with your fire risk management strategy.
VESDA Air Sampling Smoke Detection systems provide one of the most effective levels of fire protection available. They detect smoke much earlier than other devices. Managing your fire risk VESDA detection systems are usually installed in areas where fire could result in serious, perhaps catastrophic, business disruption. They are a key component in an effective fire risk management program and must be operational at all times.
- Allowing Wormald to conduct a service on your VESDA System every two years, offers a number of key benefits, such as;
- Reduce unplanned disruption to business
- Reduce likelihood of false alarms
- Ensure your VESDA system will detect smoking fires when called upon
- Service fee is less than performing works by reactive service callouts
- Compliance with New Zealand Standards 4512:2003 - ‘Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment’
