MX Series Addressable Modules

The MX Series Addressable Modules provide an interface between a wide range of fire alarm devices and the VIGILANT® MX4428 Fire Indicator Panel, which can extend the functionality of your fire detection systems to include a range of other capabilities.

MX fire alarm panels have the ability to both send and receive signals from a variety of devices. By connecting the controls of other equipment and devices, via a suitable addressable module, your fire detection system can be expanded significantly beyond a simple alarm system.

Input modules
Input modules can monitor output from extinguishing systems, ventilation controls, fire door controls or sprinkler flow switches. The signals from these devices can be incorporated into the monitoring software running on the system panel, providing a complete picture of fire detection and response. A number of input modules are available, including clean-contact options.

Relay and notification modules
The MX fire control panel can be programmed to send signals to other systems and devices in response to potential fire conditions. Relay and notification modules provide an interface with security systems. For example, they can be used to release door holders, initiates stairwell pressurisation or to sound an alarm.

Call point modules
MX automatic fire protection technology can be complemented with manual fire detection devices. For example, the CP820 indoor manual call point has a clever design that allows actuation without a hammer and without any dangerous broken glass.
