The Scout® multi-gas monitor is simple to use and can be upgraded to a sophisticated data logging hygienist’s tool for recording Occupational Exposure Level (OEL) histories or for monitoring emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

The Scott Scout is a multi-sensor (gas) monitor and can monitor up to five atmospheric hazards simultaneously including oxygen concentration, combustible gases, VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) and a wide selection from nine electrochemical toxic sensors.

The Scout® multi-gas monitor is ideal for; confined space entry, wineries, water treatment, oil and gas refineries, smelters, pulp and paper mills, non underground coal mining, site remediation, power stations and fire brigades.

Features:

  • Can run up to 5 sensors at one time
  • Up to 70 hours run time on single charge in diffusion mode (150hrs for VOCs only)
  • Accepts ‘Spectrum’ plug in PID for monitoring VOCs at ppm levels
  • Three flammable gas modes available
  • 50-5000ppm in leak detect mode
  • 0-100% lower explosive levels
  • 0-100% volume – even in inert atmospheres (optional)
  • Sensor lifetime and calibration due warning with programmable lockout
  • ATEX, CSA/UL i.s. approvals
