AreaRAE Compact Multi-gas Monitor

The AreaRAE compact multi-gas monitor is a rapidly deployable one-to-five sensor, equipped with a wireless Radio Frequency (RF) modem that allows the unit to communicate on a real-time basis with a remotely located base controller.

They are rugged, weather-resistant and highly portable monitors that can run over 24-hours on either rechargeable lithium-ion or alkaline batteries.

AreaRAE Compact Multi-Gas Monitors can be used to quickly establish an emergency perimeter by setting out multiple monitors at strategic locations, then backing off to a position of safety to monitor readings over a wireless link.

It is ideal for a range of applications, including; Hazmat and emergency response, refineries and petrochemical plants, confined space entry, power plants, pulp and mill turnarounds and marine and offshore wells.

  • Large and durable LCD display and keypad with built-in pump
  • Interchangeable lithium-ion or alkaline battery pack with continuous operation via AC source
  • Real-time wireless data transmission with built-in RF modem
  • View real-time sensor data and alarm status at headquarters or command centre
  • Simultaneously controls and displays readings for up to 32 remote detectors
  • License free, ISM band RF transmission with communication range up to 3.22 km (extendable with RAELink Repeaters)
  • Optional wall-mounting bracket or field mounting tripod adapter
  • Optional GPS provides ability to track and display readings from remote detectors
